Will the system freeze in cold weather?
A Bill Collentine evacuated tube system is extremely well insulated so it should not be affected by cold nights, the system has a temperature controlled system that automatically switches on the pump to circulate the water around the exposed parts and ensure outside parts will not freeze – in particularly cold weather. Anti-freeze can be added to the system.
Does this system require maintenance?
A Bill Collentine evacuated tube system requires little maintenance, an occasional check of the pressure gauge and a quick visual inspection to check everything is ok.
